Join EBIC at the Biostimulants World Congress 2026

August 2026

The global biostimulants community will once again come together at the Biostimulants World Congress (BWC) 2026, with the Congress and Exhibition taking place from 1 to 3 December in Sacramento, California, following separately ticketed pre-event workshops on 30 November. Organised by New AG International in partnership with the European Biostimulant Industry Council (EBIC), the congress has established itself as the leading international meeting point for the biostimulants sector, bringing together scientists, industry leaders, regulators and innovators to discuss the latest developments shaping the future of sustainable agriculture.

The three-day congress will o deliver a comprehensive programme covering advances in plant nutrition, soil health, regulation and emerging technologies. Designed for researchers, manufacturers, policymakers and stakeholders from across the agricultural value chain, BWC 2026 will provide a unique platform to exchange knowledge, showcase innovation and strengthen collaboration across the global biostimulants community.

The event will begin on 30 November with a day dedicated to two specialised workshops, setting the stage for the congress ahead. Among these is the workshop “Biostimulant Regulation in Europe: Critical Updates and Vital Information on the Regulatory Landscape in Europe”. Of particular relevance to companies operating in or entering the European market, the session will examine the latest legislative developments and provide practical guidance on product development, compliance and commercialisation.. The workshop will offer participants valuable insights into the latest legislative developments and provide practical guidance on one of the most important topics currently facing the industry.

From 1 to 3 December, delegates can look forward to three days of high-quality scientific presentations and discussions. Several EBIC member companies will be sharing their latest research and innovations, with presentations covering topics such as novel biostimulant formulations, nutrient use efficiency, drought resilience, natural bioactive compounds, seed treatment technologies and new approaches to understanding biostimulant modes of action. Among the EBIC members currently confirmed to present are Acadian Plant Health, Yara, Brandon Bioscience, Huber Biosolutions, SICIT Group and Syngenta Biologicals. Their contributions span topics including novel biostimulant formulations, nutrient use efficiency, drought resilience, natural bioactive compounds, seed-treatment technologies and new approaches to understanding biostimulant modes of action.

The congress will also feature keynote presentations from two internationally recognised experts who have worked closely with EBIC over many years. Professor Patrick Brown, Distinguished Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California, Davis, and Professor Patrick du Jardin, Professor and Head of the Plant Biology Laboratory at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech, University of Liège, will serve as Scientific Committee Co-Chairs and deliver keynote addresses. Their longstanding contributions to plant biostimulant science and their leadership within the international research community promise to make these sessions among the highlights of the programme.

Beyond the scientific programme, the Biostimulants World Congress offers one of the most valuable networking opportunities in the sector. With more than 1,200 international participants, over 600 companies and 100+ exhibitors expected to attend, delegates will have extensive opportunities to connect with the people shaping the future of the global biostimulants industry.

As a partner of the Biostimulants World Congress, EBIC is proud to support member engagement in one of the sector’s most important global events. EBIC members benefit from an exclusive registration discount, helping them make the most of this opportunity to connect with colleagues, discover the latest scientific advances and engage with experts from around the world.

We encourage all of you to join us in Sacramento this December for what promises to be another landmark edition of the Biostimulants World Congress. View the programme and secure your place today.
