EBIC welcomes new Board Members at 2025 General Assembly

December 2025

EBIC welcomed new board members at its General Assembly on 28th November 2025. After a vote from members, there are now three newly elected Directors-at-Large, who will contribute to the EBIC’s governance and strategic direction:

  • Alice Toderi, Hello Nature – Director-at-Large (2nd term)
  • Amy Roberts, Lallemand Plant Care – Director-at-Large (1st term)
  • José Nolasco, Rovensa Next – Director-at-Large (1st term)

They join the current Board members who continue their mandates:

  • Carlos Rodríguez-Villa Förster, EBIC President
  • Marco Rosso, Vice-President
  • Antonis Angeletakis, Treasurer
  • Massimo Toni, Director-at-Large

All of EBIC’s board members bring vital skills and experience to their roles. Collectively their broad range of expertise covers science, business, regulatory frameworks and innovation in biostimulants, which ensures that EBIC’s voice is as effective and impactful as possible as the sector continues to evolve.

EBIC also extends its sincere thanks to the additional six candidates who stood for election: Karina von Detten, Jérôme Grislain, Mark Palmer, Renzo Domenico Pedretti, Sergi Barrull, and Sergio Atares Real. With nine high-calibre candidates competing for only three positions, this year’s election really showcased the depth of talent and dedication within EBIC’s membership.

The General Assembly also concluded a successful voting period in which members approved all resolutions, which took place from 10th to 25th November. EBIC members voted via secure e-ballot and participation reached 80% of the membership, an exceptionally strong turnout that reflects the continued engagement and commitment of our member companies. All resolutions on the agenda received the required statutory double majority.

The Assembly confirmed the approval of:

  • The agenda of the 28 November 2025 extraordinary General Assembly
  • The minutes of the 26 June 2025 ordinary General Assembly
  • The exclusion of one member for non-payment of dues
  • EBIC’s preliminary 2026 budget
  • EBIC’s membership and admission dues for 2026
  • Publication formalities
  • The election of new Board members

EBIC thanks all members who participated in the voting process and looks forward to a productive year ahead as the association continues its work to support innovation, responsible growth, and science-based policy for the European biostimulants sector.
