Rhea Pharmaceutical Sciences is an early-stage biotech start-up company headquartered in Singapore. Using an AI-based proprietary platform, we have established a diversified R&D portfolio covering small molecule drug discovery for human and animal health indications, as well as agricultural products based on natural ingredients. We recognize the critical role plants play in food safety, as well as in facing the challenges of global climate change. Our goal has been to develop products based on natural compounds and plant oils to improve the productivity of both animals and plants. Our novel innovative natural plant bio-stimulant called Plant Guard promotes the growth of a variety of crops and vegetables. When applied via seed and/or foliage spray treatment, we received encouraging results in our initial research conducted in Indonesia focused on tomato, rice, and chili pepper plants. We observed improved crop harvests and noted enhanced nutritional values in the treatment groups. We have carried out multiple supportive large field studies and also successfully tested the product in a hydroponics system on selected vegetables. We understand Plant Guard’s Mechanism of Action based on analytical and molecular studies we have conducted such as RNA-sequencing, proteomics and metabolomics. Plant Guard is currently being registered in Indonesia and we plan to start the registration for the European market within the next 3 years.
